1. Data Collection and Local Storage Misbaha is designed to be a private, offline-first spiritual tool. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal counting data, custom dhikr (azkar) sessions, or milestones on any external servers.
All your zikr counts and progress are saved locally on your device.
If you use the JSON backup feature, the backup file is created and stored strictly on your local device storage.
2. App Permissions To provide you with the best experience, Misbaha may request the following permissions:
Notifications: We request this permission solely to send you local, on-device daily reminders for your scheduled azkar.
Storage Access: We request this permission only if you choose to export or import your backup JSON file.
3. Third-Party Services and Advertising (AdMob) To support the ongoing development of Misbaha, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a third-party service that may collect certain non-personal data to serve relevant ads.
AdMob may automatically collect device information, IP addresses, and Advertising IDs.
These ads are placed carefully (e.g., in the Certificates/Journey screen) and never on the main counting screen to preserve your focus.

4. Data Security Since your personal dhikr data remains on your device, its security depends on your device's security. We do not have access to your private data.
